🔧 DRILLING OFFSIDER WANTED – HIGGS DRILLING & EXPLORATION 🔧
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Drilling Offsider to join our small family-run water bore drilling business.
📍 Based in Southern River, WA
🚛 Work throughout Perth & regional WA
💰 Good hourly rate + overtime
📅 Casual position with ongoing work available
About the role:
• Assisting the driller with day-to-day drilling operations
• Handling drill rods, casing and equipment
• General labouring and site duties
• Driving company vehicles and equipment
• Working both locally and away when required
What we’re looking for:
• Current HR Driver’s Licence – ESSENTIAL
• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Southern River
• Physically fit and happy working outdoors
• Reliable and punctual
• Good work ethic and able to use initiative
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery
• Mechanical, farming, drilling or construction experience is a bonus
• Drilling experience is not essential – we’re happy to train the right person
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE – HR LICENCE REQUIRED BEFORE APPLYING
Applicants must already hold a current HR licence. Unfortunately, due to previous experiences, We will not be paying for or funding HR licence upgrades. Please only apply if you already hold the required licence.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, machinery and working outdoors and wants to learn the water bore drilling industry.
We’re a small crew, so attitude, reliability and work ethic are extremely important to us.
