Here’s a little sneak peek of our latest Service project at Fitzgerald Avenue, Springwood! ✨

The festoon lighting has now been tested, commissioned, and is ready to shine. The transformation of this vibrant hospitality and entertainment precinct is almost complete, and we can’t wait to share the finished result with the community.

Big things are happening behind the scenes at Logan Entertainment Centre!

Q Power is proud to be delivering a major lighting upgrade for .council with more than 300 new lighting fixtures being installed throughout the venue.

From the auditorium and stage areas to backstage and pre-function spaces, this project features advanced DMX-controlled lighting, RGBW architectural lighting and upgraded control systems designed to enhance the experience for performers, staff and visitors alike.

It’s exciting to be part of a project that will help modernise this iconic community venue and support events for years to come.

Built for performance. Designed for reliability. ⚡

Q Power recently completed hardstand lighting infrastructure works at Colpak Heathwood, delivering a high-output lighting solution designed to support industrial operations, safety and long-term reliability.

This project included:
• New 63A three phase supply
• Energex coordination and metering
• Underground electrical and communications infrastructure
• 5 x 15m galvanised tapered light poles
• 10 x Haneco Parx 300W floodlights
• Lighting controls with PE cell, timeclock and manual override
• Testing, commissioning and final light aiming

Industrial hardstand lighting is about more than simply installing poles and floodlights. Proper light distribution, pole placement, underground infrastructure planning and future-proofing for services such as CCTV all play an important role in creating a safe, functional and compliant site.

By allowing for future communications infrastructure during the initial civil works phase, the client can reduce future disruption and avoid unnecessary rework costs as the facility expands.

From underground conduits through to night-time commissioning and light angle adjustments, our team managed the project with a focus on communication, quality workmanship and successful outcomes.

For commercial builders, developers and industrial clients across Ipswich, Brisbane, Logan & Gold Coast, Q Power delivers dependable electrical infrastructure solutions built to last.
