Spring catches most pools out. Before you kick your swimming season off, run these three checks.

1. Clean the filter and check your pool equipment.
A winter's worth of leaf litter is throttling your flow.

2. Clear the heat pump. It needs airflow.
Anything stacked against it over winter has to move.

3. Set it and leave it. 28°C, and let the unit hold it.
Chasing the temperature up and down is what costs you more money than you need to.
