Turns out the termites had eaten the bottom plate out 🫣 nothing I haven’t encountered before, still a pain in the bum but a quick notched plate replacement and we’re as good as new.
FYI - Our owner was aware there had been activity and it had been dealt with but wasn’t aware of the extent.

First coat of waterproofing done so you know we’re getting closer to throwing tiles 🙌. Our Edward Street bathroom motoring along nicely.

What is it that they say about copying being the highest form of flattery… these guys might have taken it a bit far, using old Nygs work and claiming it as their own 🤔 I’m pretty sure they weren’t on site helping during Andrew and Michelle’s extension.

You’ll s**t yourself when you learn the price on these handles 🫣
But…. you can feel the difference in the quality, heavy, solid, durable, and the aim was to compliment the doors.
Just need to find an additionally complimentary door stop and flush pull 🤔.
