Site update from my back door today.

Plenty happening, with decking going down in the outdoor areas, tiling underway and painting nearly finished.

I’ve now been told handover is now August not July as first mentioned 😆 I guess I’ll forgive my builder.

Feeling grateful it hasn’t been too frosty yet and to be honest, living in a house with no bricks has made no difference to the temp inside 🤷🏻‍♀️ BUT we can now hear everything including the hectic sounds possums make at night.. 🥴

Why knockdown and rebuild?

After doing two extension/renovations ourselves it was time for something new. We bought this property for the land size, location and infrastructure with the intention to one day build our forever home.

We’d love to know, has anyone else done it?!

We are very excited to share that both our Braefoot and Bunbartha projects have been nominated for the 2026 MBV Regional Building Awards, Northern Region.

A huge achievement for our JVB team and all of our dedicated trades who helped bring these homes to life.

Also a shout out to our wonderful owners for trusting us with such an important journey. 🤎

We look forward to celebrating with all the other wonderful builders in our region in July!

A JVB Comfort Home overlooking the beautiful Strathbogie Ranges.

This build has been so much fun, and I’m pretty sure every trade that’s visited have said jeeez what an epic spot.

So excited for these wonderful owners. After some time in Pre Construction it’s certainly been a privilege to bring their home to life over the past few months.
