Today, Landscaping and Horticulture students from South Metropolitan TAFE 𝗦𝗠 𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗘, together with lecturers Callum and Amy, visited LD Total 𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹’s Baldivis to learn how 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 runs as a business.

The students explored everything from fleet and equipment to contract delivery, before heading out to one of LD Total’s beautifully landscaped parks to see the work in action. Valuable 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 they’ll carry into their careers.

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 🌿

Landscapers, growers, designers and suppliers came together at the Southwest Forum to talk about what really matters for our industry: 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

A huge thank you to 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, who are the reason this association exists, to 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀, whose support made the day possible, our host and to 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 and made the trip down south to be part of it.

And a special thank you to 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗘𝗢, for the dedication and hard work behind the scenes that brought this Forum to life. 💚

The best part? The conversations that happened between the sessions. That is what this community is all about.

Quick update: today's Landscaper Pro Series II session with Hunter and Nelson Irrigation has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict on the presenters' side.

We know some of you had this afternoon blocked out, and we're sorry for the short notice. The session (Hunter's latest irrigation tech, plus a live FX Luminaire and Luxor App demo from Nelson) is still happening, just not today.

New date coming soon. Keep an eye on this page and your inbox.
