Timing couldn't have been better because we recently received this phone call from a member of the public that summed up exactly why we're proud of our team:

FROM SITE TO SEMINAR | Our Licensed Surveyor Mitch Arnold recently presented at the PTA (Professional Training Agreement) Seminar hosted by The Land Surveyors Licensing Board of Western Australia.

Mitch shared his journey to becoming a Licensed Surveyor with a room full of articled surveyors currently working towards their own license offering practical insights and encouragement from someone who's walked the path himself.

It's a great reminder of how far a bit of guidance can go and we're proud to see our team giving back to the industry.

Precision doesn't stop at the construction site, it extends into manufacturing and fabrication too.

We recently completed an as-constructed survey on a custom vehicle chassis, verifying frame geometry, mounting points and critical tolerances against the original design specifications.

Using a combination of high precision survey equipment, our team captured accurate as-built data to confirm the finished product matched design intent, flagging any deviations before they became costly downstream issues.

It's a reminder that dimensional control and as-built verification aren't just construction terms, they're essential to quality assurance in fabrication and engineering projects of all kinds.

Do you know exactly where your property boundary is? 🤔

Most people don't until an issue or dispute arises.

A boundary survey protects you when it comes to:

Remember that only a practicing Licensed Surveyor can carry out a Boundary Re-establishment survey. In most cases it may take a day or more on site so surveyors will have to charge accordingly.

You can always visit the LSLB website https://www.lslb.wa.gov.au/ to check if the company you are speaking to has in house Licensed Practicing Surveyors.

What are Feature & Contour Surveys?

Feature and contour surveys are foundational survey plans that the entire design and approval process for a new home build relies upon. The data collected provides property owners, developers and consultants with every detail of the land.

It is an intensive dataset which collects and structures physically present on and around the land including buildings, fences, trees, driveways, utility pits, easements, overhead lines and any other structures or objects on or near the site.

Contours are then generated from the elevation data gathered throughout the subject site which helps form a 3D map of the ground surface, showing how the land rises, falls and drains across the site.

For any development project you are embarking on, you will surely be asked for this as a starting point. It's one of the first and most important steps a landowner should take when planning a new build.
