Have you noticed white bumps on your Lilly Pilly hedge or other plants? These are often scale insects a common pest that feeds on the plant's sap, weakening it over time. Left untreated, scale can lead to poor growth, leaf drop, black sooty mould, and even plant decline.
This Lilly Pilly hedge had become heavily infested, and the owners were struggling to keep the problem under control.
Rather than just giving it a cosmetic trim, we carried out a significant height reduction to open the hedge up, improve airflow, remove heavily infested growth, and allow for more effective treatment.
Getting rid of scale isn't a one-off job. Over the coming months we'll be returning for ongoing treatments and maintenance to reduce the infestation, encourage healthy new growth, and restore the hedge to full health.
At Turf Tigers, we don't just make hedges look neat we help keep them healthy.
If you've noticed white bumps, sticky leaves, black sooty mould, or your hedge just isn't looking its best, get in touch today for a free inspection and quote.
