BLACKWOOD PROJECT | SAN REMO, VICTORIA
There are homes that simply look beautiful, and then there are homes that completely change the way you feel.
Designed as a private coastal retreat, The Blackwood Project was created to capture the atmosphere of a boutique resort while embracing the relaxed lifestyle of San Remo.
A restrained palette of charred Shou Sugi Ban timber, deep charcoal brickwork, expansive glazing and soft coastal landscaping creates a home that feels calm, grounded and cinematic from every angle. Beyond the entry, the architecture unfolds around a wraparound infinity-edge pool and sunken lounge, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living and creating spaces that feel equally suited to entertaining or complete solitude.
Every material was selected to age gracefully within the coastal environment while reinforcing the home’s dark, refined character.
