Last week at the national conference in Melbourne, Timeframe Group was officially recognised for achieving 10 years as a Dulux Accredited Painter. Being part of this program means a great deal to our entire team. It is incredibly frustrating to watch a fresh coat of paint start flaking or bubbling after just a couple of years. Most of the time, the paint itself isn't the problem at all. The real culprit is rushed groundwork.

Around 80% of a truly durable paint job happens before the final colour even touches the wall. Washing down surfaces, sanding back rough spots, and filling gaps might take up the most time, but it is the only way to make sure the finish actually lasts. Last week, at the national conference celebrating the landmark 25th Anniversary of the Dulux Accredited Program, we had the immense privilege of premiering a project very close to our hearts.

Over a grueling, unforgettable few days, 14 Dulux Accredited participants joined forces with 4 absolute champions from the LifeChanger Foundation to take on the 60km Three Capes Trek in Tasmania.

This video captures that journey.

We didn't just set out to test our physical limits against rugged coastal terrain, endless stairs, and the unpredictable Tasmanian elements. We went to step out of our comfort zones, foster genuine human connections, and align our industry community with a foundation that builds more resilient futures for young people.

Listening to the team reflect on what this experience meant to them, describing it as a true "mind reset" and a powerful reconnection with nature proves that the toughest trails often yield the greatest rewards.

A massive thank you to Dulux for a quarter-century of trade leadership and for empowering collaborations like this, and to the LifeChanger team for showing us what is truly possible when people back one another.

We returned from the wilderness tired and sore, but with a renewed sense of purpose, stronger bonds, and a deep motivation to carry these lessons forward into our daily lives and businesses.
