This old switchboard was a ticking time 💣
Worn out contacts on the porcelain fuses causing excessive temperatures.
How a faulty powerpoint led us to upgrading this homes switchboard.
This powerpoint kept melting & circuit protection not activating.
After testing the integrity of the cable we had deemed it faulty
The customer wanted to go the extra step to ensure safety & integrity
A full switchboard upgrade
- Removing the asbestos panel & porcelain fuses
- New switchboard panel
-Brand new main earth & earth stake as the existing was corroded
- 18 Pole switchboard for future provisions
- All final subcircuits with RCBO protection
- Off-peak meter decomissioned as the storage has been replaced with gas . Customer will no longer be charged for it
This customer now has peace of mind & can sleep easy knowing no faults will go undetected!
