At Electrogroup Apprentices NSW/ACT, we believe supporting first-year electrical apprentices is an investment in the future of the electrotechnology industry.

Every experienced electrician once started as a first-year apprentice, learning the trade, developing practical skills, and building the foundations for a long-term career. By giving apprentices an opportunity today, industry helps secure the skilled workforce of tomorrow.

Hosting a first-year apprentice also gives businesses the opportunity to help mould and develop the next generation of tradespeople to align with their workplace culture, standards, and way of working.

We work closely with host companies across NSW and the ACT to support apprentices through quality placements, mentoring, training, and ongoing development.

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our recent Pre-Apprenticeship Program, delivered in collaboration with Superior Training Centre, to strengthen the next generation of electrical apprentices. Over the course of the program, participants developed practical skills, improved industry readiness, and gained valuable insight into what it takes to succeed in the electrical trade.

👏 11 participants successfully completed the program, with an outstanding outcome already achieved, with a number securing employment as first-year apprentices, commencing their careers with confidence and a solid foundation.

This program is a key part of our commitment to building a stronger, more capable workforce and supporting both apprentices and host employers from day one.

A big thank you to Superior Training, our trainers, industry partners, and host employers for their support in making this program a success.

At Electrogroup Apprentices, we are incredibly proud to acknowledge the hard work, resilience and achievement of our apprentices who completed their apprenticeship in 2025.

Becoming a qualified electrician is no small feat. It represents years of early mornings, on-site learning, technical study, workplace evidence, safety training and the determination to keep going even when the work is tough and the standards are high. Each of you has demonstrated commitment to your trade, respect for safety, and pride in workmanship. You have grown not only in skill, but in confidence and professionalism.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our valued host employers, field officers, RTO partners and families who support our apprentices every step of the way. Completion is always a team effort.
