It’s no secret that working in the trades is often physically demanding, which is why looking after your health is just as important as looking after your tools.

When was the last time you had a check-up with your GP? How often are you making time to move your body and take care of your physical health? Are you getting enough rest, or checking in with a mate who’s been carrying the load? Small actions can make a big difference.

A huge congratulations to Lachlan Lucas on completing his electrical apprenticeship and officially becoming a qualified electrician. 👏⚡

Lachlan has worked hard to reach this milestone, and we're proud to have supported him throughout his apprenticeship.

Here's what Lachlan had to say about his journey:

“Finishing my electrical apprenticeship with Capability Resources feels great. The support, guidance, and opportunities I received throughout my apprenticeship helped me build both my skills and confidence.

One of the biggest things I’ll take away from this experience is the importance of teamwork—working alongside experienced tradespeople and being part of a supportive team helped me learn, grow, and achieve my goals.

The mentorship I received throughout my apprenticeship was invaluable, with experienced mentors sharing their knowledge, encouraging me to challenge myself, and helping me develop into the electrician I am today. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and excited to take the next step in my career as a qualified electrician.”

These catch-ups are a chance to connect, enjoy a warm brekky, thank our team for their hard work, celebrate milestones and share important updates across the business.

This meeting, we also highlighted Men's Health Month, shared seasonal safety reminders as we head into winter, and celebrated several team milestones.
