FCS has reached another significant milestone on the HVO ROM project, successfully completing the major shutdown works ahead of schedule and with zero incidents or injuries.

This achievement reflects the commitment, collaboration and efficiency of our team on site, delivering critical works safely while keeping the project moving forward.

We’re also pleased to announce that the first coal has now successfully transferred through the system and is feeding into the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) – a facility recently completed by FCS – as planned.

With the major works complete, the team will now focus on finalising paint touch-ups, installing signage and completing demobilisation activities to ensure every aspect of the project is delivered to the highest standard.

A fantastic effort by everyone involved as we prepare to wrap up this project and move on to the next challenge.

Our FCS team was proud to sponsor and attend the Hunter Melanoma Foundation fundraising lunch, an event dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected by melanoma.

It was a privilege not only to contribute to such an important cause, but also to hear from Harry Garside, whose openness, resilience and personal story left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

Progress continues on a major materials handling upgrade project in the Hunter Valley, with the FCS team recently achieving several key project milestones.

With commissioning activities advancing and critical infrastructure works completed, the project is continuing to move forward as planned. The team is now focused on the next phase of delivery, which will support final system integration and project completion.

It's been a strong team effort to date, with everyone working collaboratively to maintain momentum while prioritising safety, quality and project outcomes.
