When you wind your clocks forward, don’t forget to test your RCDs and smoke alarms — a quick safety check that could save a life.
✅ Test your RCDs:
Press the ‘TEST’ button on your switchboard safety switches. Power should instantly cut off.
If it doesn’t, call a licensed electrician – it’s time for a service.
✅ Test your Smoke Alarms:
Press and hold the test button until the alarm sounds.
Replace batteries if needed and check the expiry date (10 years is the limit).

RIP to those brave souls who laid their life down to protect ours.

Good afternoon all,

This evening at 7.00pm the following CFA brigades, FRV stations and SES will be gathering in front of the Knox Victoria Police station in Burwood Rd Knox, as a sign of respect for the 2 officers who lost their lives doing their jobs on Tuesday 26th August. Our prayers and sincere condolences are with the families, friends and colleagues of those who are affected by this tragedy.
