Full circle!

It all started with Paul and the Berwick Ford team in 2018 with the purchase of our first Ford Ranger Wildtrak.

Since then, we’ve added 2 more Rangers and 6 Ford Transit Custom vans to the Wallgates fleet.

Today we upgraded that first Ranger in for the new Ford Ranger Platinum; and isn’t she a beauty!

i-Trac matting was the only option for us to get this major project complete. Sitting on a retarding basin, the extra heavy duty mat system allowed us to safely maneuver all our heavy cranes and travels towers on the ground during winter with no damage to the playing surface.

This entire space at Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre is set up meticulously for the Casey Gymnastics Club. With a decently high ceiling, maintenance of the old Metal Halide high bay lights was disruptive and costly.

Simultaneous to the upgrade of the 20 stadium lights to 150w LED fittings, each light was also fitted with specialized lifting units from REELTECH AUSTRALIA - REMOTE LIGHTING LIFTERS allowing remote control lowering for easy maintenance.

With high bounce gymnastic flooring, Olympic Rings and other large frame equipment across the floor we couldn’t have done this job so efficiently without the versatility of specialized equipment provided by Spider Lift Hire - Difficult access specialists. Special mention also to desol - Design Solutions for their assistance dismantling and clearing us a work path and setting the place back up again once we were done.

The entire system works a treat and we’re so pleased to have delivered another successful project for the City of Casey and their end user community groups.

From the moment this project came across my desk early this year, the unique Valen Power 7.5m square poles with integrated solar panels grabbed my attention.
The concrete-free pole foundations are installed by driving steel poles into the ground and the poles can be erected immediately - the entire process taking approximately 30mins in entirety.

We’ve recently commissioned this off-grid system complete with 48w VFL540 WE-EF LIGHTING Australia/New Zealand fittings.

Project engineered by Siva Nadella in conjunction with Buckford Illumination Group.

With thanks to the Bayside City Council for awarding us this opportunity.

Experience certainly helps develop solid project planning to ensure your team is informed and prepared for the tasks ahead.

But when you’re directional boring over 1.8kilometers of conduits in metro Melbourne you can bet your boots you’ll come across something fun; like some old buried roadways or even an old brickworks.

Being able to reassess and adapt quickly and safely is key to keeping the project moving and maintaining client confidence in your capabilities.

Some sections of the route required open trench installation but there were only minor delays. Conduit installation is now complete and we can move on to installing the poles.
