There’s a local team behind our builds, and we’re pretty proud of the crew we’ve got.

They’ve been busy at Roma Industrial Hub, with things well underway now. These are practical spaces for businesses that need more room, better access or a solid base to work from.

If you’re looking for your own industrial space in Roma, give Dan a call and have a chat about what’s available 📲

🏆 Employer of Choice!

We’re pretty proud to have taken out the Employer of Choice Award at the 2026 Maranoa Business Awards over the weekend.

At Murray Builders, our greatest strength has always been our people. We believe in backing locals, giving people opportunities and helping them build careers they can be proud of.

From school-based apprentices finding their feet, to qualified tradespeople growing into site supervisor and management roles, we're passionate about investing in our team and the future of our region.

This award belongs to our incredible team. Their hard work, loyalty and dedication are what make Murray Builders what it is, and we couldn't be prouder of them.

Thank you so much to the Roma Commerce and Tourism Inc. and to TAFE Queensland for sponsoring this award. We’re very grateful for the recognition!

Proud to be local. Proud to back locals. Proud of our team.

A bit of a look back at this Wormwell Drive project, completed a couple of years ago.

While there’s been plenty happening lately with OCG at Wallumbilla and the Roma Industrial Hub sheds, this type of work isn’t new territory for Murray Builders.

Over the years we’ve worked across a range of commercial and industrial projects, and we enjoy the practical side of these builds. Working through access, layout, workflow, services and all the little details that make the finished building work properly for the people using it every day.

Always good to look back at where we’ve been while we keep building on what’s ahead.

One of the things we love about Bassett Court is how all the finishing touches came together, from the fencing and landscaping through to the concrete and timber ceilings.

A little shout out to some of the businesses who helped make that happen:

• Povin for the white picket fence
• Moorelands Bush Nursery for the plants
• Sandstone World for the sandstone garden edging
• Garden Edging Solutions for the metal garden edging
• Grulke Concreting for the concrete works
• Australian Timber Ceilings for the external timber ceilings

There are always a lot of people behind a finished project like this, and we really appreciate the care everyone put into their part of the build.

It all came together beautifully.

The Murray Builders Juvenile is all wrapped up.

There was some seriously good riding amongst this lot and plenty to be proud of.

A special thanks to our judge, Lachie Sullivan for encouraging our young competitors and giving their time to the event, and to cattle donors The Dearden Family for providing the cattle that allowed our young riders get out there and have a go.

Well done to every one of our Juvenile competitors! 👏🤠

Work is moving along on the new sheds at Roma Industrial Hub, and we’re keen to talk with businesses who could see one of these spaces working for them.

They’ve been designed with practical business use in mind, with plenty of potential for trades, contractors, mechanical businesses, transport operators and other local businesses needing their own workshop or industrial base in Roma.

If you’ve been thinking about securing a space for your business, now is a good time to have a chat. 📲
