BullAnt Security is a leading commercial locksmith, access control and security products supplier for businesses, industrial and government customers and are currently seeking applications for our 2024 apprentice intake.

We require apprentices to fill a position as an Apprentice Locksmith in either of our two branches Malaga and Rockingham.

The Role

As an apprentice locksmith, you will be trained in all facets of locks and locking devices including assembling, repairing, installing, rekeying locks and cutting keys. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to expand into electronic locks and access control systems.

A typical day in the life of an apprentice locksmith is providing workshop-based production to support the Mobile Locksmiths, interacting with customers in a retail setting by cutting keys, repairing, assembling locks, and selling related security products.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you will want a career not just a job, enjoy technical work and display good hand-eye coordination. You will also have:

Good presentation
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desire to be the best at what you do
Ability to work as both part of a team and autonomously
Organisation and planning skills
Desire to provide excellent customer service
Ability to focus and follow instructions
Practical computer skills
Willingness to commit to a 4 year trade course
You will be required to provide and maintain a National Police Clearance, a current manual C Class Driver’s Licence and to meet our customer requirements, maintain up-to-date flu and Covid-19 vaccinations.

This position is full time 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
