🟣🟠🔴🟢 REGIONAL SAFETY EXPO AUSTRALIA - ROCKHAMPTON
📅 6 August 2026 ⏰ 8am - 4pm 📍 Robert Schwarten Pavilion, Rockhampton QLD
⚠️ Australia's first regional safety expo - happening right here in Central Queensland ⚠️
🟣 ONE DAY. 500+ SAFETY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS. ONE ROOM.
This isn't a lecture series and it isn't a trade show with a safety table in the corner. It's a full day of real conversations, live demonstrations and practical solutions - bringing construction, mining, rail, agriculture, energy, government and more face to face with the people, products and thinking that make workplaces safer.
Built from the ground up by Kris Cotter - Certified Chartered OHS Professional, former WHS Queensland Inspector and CEO of Synergy Safety Solutions - to close a gap that's existed for too long. Regional Queensland deserves the same access to safety innovation, expertise and connection the capital cities take for granted. This August, it gets it.
🟢 WHY GIVE UP A DAY FOR THIS?
Because you'll walk out with more than a tote bag. You'll leave with:
- Practical ways to manage the safety risks regulators now expect you to - including psychosocial hazards and mental health, the fastest-moving area in WHS
- Real strategies for building a safety culture your crew actually buys into
- Face-to-face access to the suppliers who specify, build and service safety solutions - no inbox, no algorithm, just the right conversation on the right day
- A room full of peers tackling the same challenges across CQ's biggest industries.
🟠 WHO'S TAKING THE STAGE
Our 2026 line-up brings Australian icons, frontline leaders and wellbeing experts who'll change how you think about safety - at work, in your team and in your community:
JORDAN MEEHAN & CHRIS BENNETT - Walk n Talk Collective. Breaking down the barriers around mental health in regional communities, one walk and one conversation at a time.
MEGHAN JARVIS - Founder/CEO of Wellcorp & Buzvil, co-founder of the Million Women Movement. Where workplace wellbeing meets performance - inspiring and practical in equal measure.
AMANDA BULOW - Founder/CEO of Awesome Women in Construction. Challenging assumptions and opening doors in one of Australia's most male-dominated industries.
CELESTE CLEARY - Founder of Flourishing Wellness. Building workplaces where people genuinely thrive, not just survive.
MICHAEL LARSEN - Larsen Air Conditioning Hire, co-host of The Rental Journal Podcast. The ground-level reality of operating safely and successfully in regional Queensland.
DR SAN - Psychosocial retirement educator. A thought-provoking take on the human side of career transition.
DEB RAE - Coach, facilitator, author and speaker. Turning insight into lasting change for people, teams and organisations.
Full programme and session times to be announced.
