Got a list of things to do this Easter long weekend? Remember there are some jobs you should NEVER do – DIY electrical work is one of them!

DIY electrical work has the potential to cause serious injuries or death.

While it might be tempting to try and save some money or it looks simple enough, always leave it to the professionals.

If you touch something that gives you an electric shock or a tingle, the next thing you touch should be your phone. Experiencing a shock or tingle isn’t normal. It could mean there’s an electrical wiring issue in or near your home that might lead to a more dangerous situation.

Do you know why you're A/C installer puts your system onto vacuum to 500 micron?

Moisture in the system can turn to acid and freeze, and other
non-condensables like nitrogen, air, water or other refrigerants can
change the pressure readings in the system. Removing all of these can directly increase the expected life and efficiency of the system.

It takes a deep vacuum of 500 microns or lower to boil off and remove all moisture and non-condensable gasses from a system. Even though microns are small, there’s a massive difference between 500 microns and 1,000 microns.

To make sure the system is ready for refrigerant, you need to make sure the vacuum you pull is deep enough to remove all moisture and non-condensable gasses.

Jordan prides himself on a thorough installation tailored to the manufacturer and home owners requirements, here is a few photos of some of our vac tests.
