Roofing Scheduler required

Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Scheduler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have roofing experience and demonstrate strong organizational skills, ensuring the smooth scheduling of our teams and resources. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency, coordinating both employed tradesmen and subcontractors, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling & Coordination
• Efficiently schedule a fleet of 7 utes and a team of employed tradesmen along with 4 subcontractors to attend 10-15 jobs per day.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers (order materials) and team members to ensure timely and smooth ex*****on of tasks.
• Plan and anticipate upcoming jobs, ensuring schedules are set at least two weeks in advance.
2. Estimation & Time Management
• Utilize extensive roofing experience (both metal and tile) to accurately estimate job durations.
• Ensure resources, including both in-house teams and subcontractors, are allocated efficiently to maximize daily output.
3. Team & Subcontractor Management
• Build strong relationships with both employees and subcontractors, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Address any logistical or morale challenges that arise, keeping teams motivated and on-task.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and operational inquiries from team members and subcontractors.
4. Administration & Documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of schedules, tasks, and team assignments.
• Coordinate with other departments or management as needed for efficient operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies when managing scheduling logistics.

Qualifications
• Roofing experience, with some understanding of both metal and tile roofing.
• Experience coordinating both in-house tradesmen and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Demonstrated capability to motivate and lead teams, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with scheduling software/tools is a plus.
