ANOTHER MAJOR PROJECT COMPLETED ✅
MOUNT PIPER POWER STATION 🏭

NR Construction is proud to have completed a large-scale road rehabilitation and bitumen sealing project at Mount Piper Power Station, covering extensive sections of roadway across the site.

The works involved a combination of different treatments depending on the condition of each section, including:

🔸 Mechanical brooming and preparation of existing road surfaces
🔸 Filling and repairing damaged areas and potholes
🔸 Stabilising sections with DGB20 road base mixed with cement powder for additional strength
🔸 Application of hot bitumen seal with 10mm pre-coated aggregate to repaired and stabilised sections
🔸 Full 7mm hot bitumen reseal across designated road areas
🔸 Rolling and consolidation to complete the finished surface

This was a substantial project covering many thousands of square metres, requiring careful planning, heavy equipment and a considerable amount of material.
