Featured in Domain | Pool 9784, Brighton
We’re proud to see Pool 9784, Brighton featured by Domain in its recent look at Australia’s best pools of 2026, following the project’s recognition as the SPASA 2026 Australasian Master Pool Builders Project of the Year.
Integrated within a three-level Brighton residence, Pool 9784 is a highly considered private wellness space incorporating a 15-metre indoor pool, raised spa and sauna. Custom acrylic viewing windows connect the pool with the bar and entertainment area below, creating a unique relationship between the pool and the architecture of the home.
Behind the finished space was a significant technical challenge. The pool structure needed to work as an integral part of the building, requiring careful resolution of structure, waterproofing, hydraulics, finishes and construction sequencing.
As Dean Jones, Residential Manager at Neptune Swimming Pools, explained to Domain, the architectural vision had already been established. Neptune’s role was to determine how that vision could be successfully constructed and delivered.
A project of this complexity is only possible through close collaboration between the architect, engineers, builder, specialist suppliers and trades involved throughout the process.
We’re proud to have worked alongside an exceptional project team to bring Pool 9784 to life.
Thank you to Domain for featuring the project and recognising the design, craftsmanship and technical work behind it.
