This project is a great example of how much a material palette can change the character of the same form.​
We love seeing our baths take on a completely different personality from one project to the next. Here, the Zen Bath sits within a decidedly darker palette of charcoal tile, stone and timber.​
The curved form of the bath brings a softness to the room, while the darker finish allows it to feel almost architectural against the surrounding surfaces. Creating a very different feeling from the light, pared-back bathrooms we often associate with freestanding baths.​

The best workplaces recognise that quality isn’t measured only by the office itself, but by the experience of the building as a whole, from arrival through to the smallest daily rituals.​
At 101 Collins Street, the Zen Basin forms part of an end-of-trip washroom designed to offer more than a place to freshen up. The space was created to give people somewhere to shower, dress and prepare for the working day; an elevated amenity intended to make getting into the workplace feel more appealing. Here, functionality and design are given equal importance, creating an experience that feels considered from the moment you arrive.​

Every considered bathroom design begins with its architecture. The position of a window, the rhythm of joinery, the quality of light and the proportions of the room all influence how the space is experienced.​
Rather than asking designers and clients to work within the limitations of a product, our made-to-measure and couture vanities were created to support the unique requirements of each project—offering the freedom to create tailored pieces, original designs, custom colours and precise dimensions up to 3000mm.​
