Introducing the Bower Small Projects Division and our favourite small scale design ideas that can create a big impact.
We have recently been chatting to clients and potential clients about exploring a smaller scale approach to renovating: many are feeling uncertainty about how much to invest in their homes or don't feel confident to embark on a big project.
Small projects, when thoughtfully designed, can make a remarkably big impact. From targeted internal renovations and refined interiors to clever architectural interventions, Bower’s Small Projects Division has been created to help clients unlock the full potential of homes, townhouses and apartments without always needing to embark on a major build.
For more than 20 years, Bower has designed bespoke new homes and substantial renovations across Melbourne, the Peninsulas and beyond. Alongside these larger projects, we have increasingly been asked by repeat clients to undertake smaller, highly focused works: refining second homes, improving Melbourne bases, updating townhouses, reworking apartments and refreshing spaces that no longer support the way our clients live.
These projects have been deeply rewarding. With smaller budgets, reduced or no planning risk, and far shorter construction timelines, they have transformed daily life in meaningful ways. Read about the small-scale design moves we love most, and the big difference they can make on our website, link in our bio.
