We’re proud to showcase one of our biggest commercial projects yet — taking an entire operating roadhouse off-grid in Far North Queensland.

This isn’t a small off-grid setup.

Oasis Roadhouse operates accommodation, commercial refrigeration, kitchens, air conditioning, pumps, fuel facilities and significant loads day and night.

To power it, Shorecan Electrical & Solar designed and installed a serious commercial energy system:

🔋 330 kWh Battery Storage
⚡ 100 kW Hybrid Inverter Capacity
⚙️ Fully Integrated Automatic Generator Backup

The result is a system designed to keep a large remote business operating 24 hours a day, while dramatically reducing its reliance on diesel generation and conventional power.

But this project isn't just about Oasis.

It demonstrates what is now possible for farms, cattle stations, roadhouses, pubs, motels, caravan parks, workshops and commercial businesses throughout Far North Queensland.
