A position exists for a Concrete Batch Plant Operator & Agi Driver based in Ravenshoe.

• Batching Experience desirable but not essential as training will be given.
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence, Class HR
• White Card (General Induction to Safety)
• Plant Operator (Front End Loader Operations)
• A willingness to work alone and in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Data entry and analysis
• Physical and manual ability to work in Quarries & on work sites.
• Reliable, Self-motivated & Well Presented.
• Preferred experience in Concrete Batching.

The Role:
• Permanent full-time position
• Responsible for performing maintenance and welding repairs, and servicing for all Fleet.
• Major repairs and prestart checklist maintenance.
• Breakdowns on and off-site.

Experience and Qualifications:
1.Hold a relevant Trade Qualification
2.Experience and knowledge in welding and repairing, servicing and breakdowns of heavy plant, equipment.
3.Preventative maintenance, and fault identification and rectification.
4.Be self-motivated, and work as part of a team.
5.Attention to detail and committed to Workplace, Health and Safety
6.Great time management skills to operate with high level of productivity.
7.Excellent communication skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on Leading Hand Quarry Worker to join our friendly team and assist with the daily operations and production of the Ravenshoe Quarry.

The Role:
Assist in daily delegations and oversee production & safety
Assist with paperwork including collating daily dockets and production reports
Organising and scheduling staff
Liaise with Lab Manager for testing and quality control
Liaise with Managing Director/Office for production and quality reports & scheduling
Liaise with Workshop/Tyreshop regarding scheduled maintenance and breakdowns
Operate machinery and run plant, general maintenance.

Essential Requirements:
Current Drivers Licence (Class HR preferred)
Generic Construction Induction (White Card)
Hold Machinery Tickets including Front End Loader & Excavator
Experience in Supervision/ Management
Experience in Operating Quarry Plant and Machinery
Proactive and Self Motivated with a willingness to create and meet targets
Great communication skills
