Is anyone interested in joining our pilot program? We wish to tackle weeds on streets, hands on. Together-
Every human has the power to make a tiny difference in the community. And it can start right here. Please reach out to us as we’d love to have your hands on the Huon with us. šŸŒ±šŸ¦œšŸšŸ‘Š

Glyphosate is a problem that is expensive to solve - unless we work together to deal with weeds as a community. I met with Sarah and Dan today and we want to try a pilot project to clear a street of weeds so that Council workers only need to inspect. That saves our environment from glyphosate and saves costs to the rates. I’m working to make it a repeatable model so that other areas can do it too.

We practice what we ā€œpreachā€. We won’t use chemical sprays for our clients, ourselves or our children’s planet.

Hands on Huon. Glyphosate is coming. Get together and give the no need to spray.

We are not religious or align our hearts to any faith but that of the faith we hold in humanity. And in this, Our prayers are with those who are hurting today as news floods our feeds. This is the Prayer that I Forgot, by Paulo Coelho.

He planted an acorn he found at The Village Green, long before she was even in his life. This is what it looks like when you give kids free rein in a garden. Things grow here and there, and wildly, without ā€œdesignā€. Ours will never be an award winning garden. It will be, ā€œHere’s the ā€˜Acorn Tree’, that Finn planted. Here is Arlen’s birch. Here are the random calendula they threw down while wandering throughā€. ā€œOh, there’s more mintā€. This morning, I heard them outside, still so early, the warm wind and the garden called them barefooted, to plant. I don’t even know what they buried beneath the mulch. I guess we’ll see come Spring.
