Marking 40 years of capital construction, Guideline ACT celebrated with its people and special guests.

Acknowledging employees with 5, 10, 20 and 30 years of service milestones. With a nod to our history and a focus on the future, a great time was had by all.

Guideline ACT is proud to be recognised at the 2025 Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards. Winning both the Civil - Roadworks and Civil - Other categories with the Braddon Public Realm Upgrade and Molonglo Valley Interceptor Sewer Project.

Throwback Thursday

A truly iconic Guideline ACT photo, In our 40th year of capital construction we reflect on signature projects.

This was the Cotter Dam Remedial Works project, completed in 1999. This photo captures a helicopter lifting ground anchors into place, believed to be a first at the time.

The Dam was originally built in 1912, raised in 1949 and now rests below the water line and behind the wall of the new Cotter Dam.

An extremely technical project, Guideline ACT innovated with industry leading construction and environmental procedures resulting in a successful outcome for all stakeholders, winning multiple awards for it’s efforts.

Guideline ACT recently attended the 2025 CCF Earth Awards, where Miriam de Kievith was recognised as the 2025 Outstanding Woman in Civil Construction and the Molonglo Valley Interceptor Sewer Odour Mitigation Project (MVIS) was awarded best project in the $10m to $30m category.

Congratulations Miriam on a well-deserved award, and thankyou to all our employees, subcontractors and stakeholders for achieving such a great result at MVIS.
