We're Hiring | Wood Machinist

Capital Veneering is looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to join our growing team. Working from our modern Queanbeyan workshop, you'll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality joinery using a range of woodworking machinery.

You'll work with equipment including CNC machinery, beam saws, panel saws, and edgebanders, helping ensure every component is manufactured accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

We're looking for someone who has:
• Experience operating woodworking machinery, ideally including Biesse CNC
• Strong knowledge of woodworking processes, machinery and materials
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A strong focus on safety and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

We're incredibly proud to announce that Capital Veneering has been named a finalist in the 2026 Excellence Awards for Bathroom Project less than $50,000!

This beautiful ensuite in Curtin is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through collaboration. Working alongside Preferred Builders and Viceroy Studio, we helped bring this bespoke bathroom to life, featuring a curved custom vanity, natural granite, stone-look tiles, a freestanding bath and an oversized shower.

Working together with Preferred Builders and Viceroy Studio, this bespoke kitchen features a striking 3.8-metre curved island, natural granite benchtops and beautifully crafted custom joinery designed to maximise both function and style.
