Not a bad view from today’s job in Wamboin.

The existing Mildred valve had developed a fault and was repeatedly beeping and shutting off the property’s water supply—even after new batteries were installed and the dry safe tray and sensor were checked.

The faulty unit was removed and replaced with BuildTuff’s new Joey valve, restoring automatic leak detection and water shut-off protection for the under-sink hot water system.

We regularly travel to Wamboin, Bywong and surrounding rural properties for plumbing, drainage, hot water, pumps, filtration and gasfitting work.

Another quality water treatment upgrade completed recently with the addition of a UV filtration system to an existing filtration setup.

UV sterilisation is a great extra layer of protection for rural and tank water supplies, helping reduce bacteria and other microorganisms before the water enters the home. Combined with the existing filtration system, this setup now provides even greater peace of mind for the homeowner.

A great touch on this one was the custom-built enclosure constructed by the owner to protect their valuable filtration equipment from the weather and harsh outdoor conditions. A simple addition like this can go a long way towards extending the life of pumps, filters and UV components while also keeping the installation neat and accessible for servicing.

Drains not working properly?

This client had issues with a blocked drain at their house in Queanbeyan. Upon investigation we found the boundary riser to be blocked. We liaised with council on this one to get it sorted for the home-owner hassle free. Once council had finished their works we CCTV inspected the line to make sure there were no further issues.

This home-owner had called us in because their gas retailer wouldn't refill their gas cylinder due to the non-compliant work that had been done originally. We removed the defective installation and made everything g comply so they could get the refill. We got this done safely, quickly and efficiently for them. They are once again all good to go.
