Aldabra Nursery is located in the beautiful and tropical Whitsundays in North Queensland. We are a growing plant nursery that specialise in Native and Exotic plants that range from 200mm to 500 litre bags - Our Primary Goal is to provide our clients with strong, healthy landscape quality plants. Aldabra Nursery was founded by Paul and Andrea Deering and was named after the famous Atoll that is nor

th of Madagascar. Aldabra is an arabic word for "green" thus a fitting name for the tropical nursery filled with a variety of Native and Exotic Plant life. Since it's opening in 1984, it has grown from a small operation to one of the biggest plant nursery's in the region - supplying landscapers, developers, wholesalers and retail outlets throughout Queensland. We have a variety of Services that we offer through our Landscape Department that support and expand on our Nursery, these include:
Irrigation supply and installation, Designing services, construction services, Fertilizer and soil amendments and Machinery services.

As the 1st anniversary passes, we reflect on the devastation and destruction of the powerful Cyclone Debbie!
Aldabra was a disaster zone! Tears were shed as we stood in shock of mother natures fury. Then the sun came out and we began the mammoth task of clearing fallen trees, standing up and assessing salvageable stock etc.
it's been 1 huge year and Aldabra is back greening the Whitsundays and beyond.
