The success of a heritage renovation often lies in the dialogue between old and new.

At Kooyong Residence, we sought to honour the home's period detailing while creating a more fluid, contemporary environment for modern family living. Wainscot panelling, ornate plaster mouldings and traditional stair detailing were carefully retained and restored. The result is a home that feels layered, timeless and deeply connected to both its past and its future.

A kitchen is the gathering point of the home. Alongside the layout, stone is a key consideration. Natural stone selection is akin to choosing a piece of art: Calacatta Viola, deep green quartzite, Rosso Levanto, each slab elected for the character it brings. Sumptuous, sculptural, built to be lived around.

Swipe through a few of the kitchens we've designed, and the stones that anchor them.

Cecconi's Toorak is designed with Italian heritage, told in materiality. Honed travertine wraps the floors and walls, while a Gio Ponti–inspired stair rises through the lobby, its stepped silhouette cut in striking red marble.

A sister to the Flinders Lane institution, is designed to feel like one of the great Milanese arcades.

“A sexy hotel suite” is how described our Eureka Residence, and honestly, we’re still thinking about it.

An apartment designed to feel immersive, intimate and quietly luxurious, Eureka Residence was always about creating a home that balances warmth with restraint. Rich textures, sculptural forms and layered materiality come together to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply liveable.

A huge thank you to Elle Decoration UK for featuring Eureka Residence in this beautiful May edition, and to our incredible clients and team who helped bring the vision to life.

Design doesn’t end with the architecture and interiors - it’s realised through the layers that bring a home to life.

Eureka Residence reflects a considered blend of iconic, contemporary and locally sourced pieces, creating a collected sensibility enriched by bespoke elements designed in-house. Every gesture is resolved in concert, shaping an immersive apartment that balances visual impact with enduring comfort and clarity.

Bathrooms should be spaces of retreat – calming and restorative. From showstopping powder rooms to intimate ensuites, we obsess over every detail. The stone selections, tapware placement, capturing natural light or bringing warmth underfoot, each element needs to be resolved with intention.

The living spaces at Cloverdale II sit elevated above the street, framing views across the treetops to Melbourne's city skyline. A subdued palette of travertine, soft oak floors and deep-stained oak panelling create a sense of pleasing contrast – materials that feel grounded, even as the view stretches outward. Bringing it all together are the furniture, lighting and art, where each one has been hand-selected to belong here.
