Tom Hardy proved that his tough on-screen roles aren’t just acting. In a surprising real-life moment, the Hollywood star quietly entered a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition and walked away as a winner.

In 2022, Tom Hardy took part in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship in England.

He didn’t announce it, promote it, or seek attention. He entered under his real name, blending in like any other competitor. Many people at the event didn’t even realize a global movie star was on the mat.

Competing as a blue belt, Hardy faced trained fighters and won multiple matches using skill, discipline, and technique. He went on to win gold in his category, submitting his opponents and earning respect from everyone present. Fellow competitors later said he was humble, focused, and incredibly polite throughout the event.

Tom Hardy has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for years, especially while preparing for his role in the film Warrior. His win wasn’t about fame, it was about passion, hard work, and showing up like everyone else.

This moment reminded people that real strength is built quietly. Sometimes, the strongest victories happen when no one is watching.

Dear Present and Future customers.

We are only to happy to work with you and compete your repairs, renovations and new builds. However, please note to avoid messiness, confusion and the risk of out-of-pocket. We will only work directly with the Payee and not with a third party.

Any Subcontractors also on site are responsible for their own work and accounts. This is not the responsibility of Stuart Engel Carpentry.

We are a small sole-trader business and only draw a living wage. This means that our accounts are strictly 7 days unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon.

Dear customers and households

Further to our last post. We have been working with our suppliers who have put into action very sensible and low impact strategies that acknowledge social distancing and crowd guidelines in order to support tradies and customers.

After the announcement from Scott Morrison last night, and the actions put in place by suppliers and how we work as tradies - it is for the most part business as usual.

Stuart Engle Carpentry has put into place safe measures to minimise the spread of the Coronavirus by ensuring safe workable distances when engaging with clients face to face, with the inclusion of masks and practical hygiene practices, working in isolation, and the use of technology to communicate.

Customers existing and new are encouraged to call if needing urgent support or wishing to plan future work.

Dear customers and households,

In relation to the looming Coronavirus lockdown, existing customers and households are still encouraged to contact tradies such as myself if needing help. This can be done by still maintaining distances via mobile and email where photos and videos can be uploaded as well as normal mobile chat etc. From here a plan or action can be made if the job is urgent or can be held off with a bandaid until things settle.

Current customer jobs at this stage will still be worked as I work in isolation, however some materials may be scarce. I’ll address these issues as they arise.

Let’s hope it is only the few weeks they are talking about.
