Effective Electrical in Ballarat needed a heated battery solution for an 18-year-old off-grid Victron Energy ANZ & Pacific system installed in a non-insulated steel shed.

DPA recommended two 16 kWh Discover Energy Systems HELIOS batteries. Their IP65-rated steel enclosures remove the need for additional cabinets, while integrated 200 W heaters support operation in alpine and southern climates down to -20°C.

It’s a practical upgrade for off-grid systems operating through demanding conditions.
