Mix Group has been a little quiet here — why?
Well, we have been building...
We are extremely proud to showcase this one to the wider public. Every drop of concrete you see in these awesome drone photos by Images on Eyre has been supplied by Lincoln Concrete, the local, family-owned small business on the Eyre Peninsula.
So, what are we looking at? These shots showcase “Janette”, a state-of-the-art Tunnel Boring Machine commissioned to help build the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant (EPDP) here in Port Lincoln. Starting back in September and working alongside McConnell Dowell and Hully Foundations , Lincoln Concrete has supplied over 3,000m³ of SA Water-compliant concrete.
Janette begins her tunnelling journey shortly, and with the concrete works now completed, we have created a launchpad for her commissioning.
