These pictures aren’t related to the story they’re just some of my favourite jobs I did in the beginning of Project Pals.

I remember when I first went out on my own, I wasn’t sure if it would last long, I had to get up and get out there and make it happen regardless of what was going on in my world.

When I was just getting started I had just broken my arm outside of work but I still had to provide, I pushed through the pain and pushed myself a lot to make it happen.

I was turned back from a lot of potential clientele as they were concerned I couldn’t complete the tasks with a broken arm but what choice did I have? None.

I ended up getting my biggest job for me on my own at that time of my career it seemed to good to be true everything was something to be proud of, I ripped up and replaced 50m2 of decking with my lil old broken arm stupidly paying for the materials and dumping the tear out as I was that keen to make a name for myself and get in someone’s good graces, they ended up leaving the state and selling the house and leaving me with the shape of an L on my forehead, a hole in my pocket and a greater understanding of how people work.

A huge hit nonetheless these hits are lessons and they make us hungrier and work harder so a blessing I’m still here still standing and still doing what I do, Continuing to show up, working through things regardless of the circumstances.
