Currently progressing through the Protoblast workshop is a large blast and paint facility featuring a partial abrasive recovery system, a 50,000 CFM dust collector, and a dedicated paint area with dividing walls that allow multiple colours and coating systems to be applied simultaneously.

Right now, the dust collector is undergoing surface preparation and coating, highlighting the same high standards we apply across all Protoblast projects. Every product that leaves our workshop is blasted and coated using systems carefully selected to suit customer requirements, environmental conditions, and equipment location.

For this project, a polyurethane three‑coat system was specified to provide long‑term protection and performance in service.

The Protoblast truck is back on the road, this time delivering the remaining parts of a blast machine that will soon be integrated into a robotic production cell.

Following the initial delivery last week, this shipment marks the next step in bringing the complete system together before testing and commissioning ahead of its final installation.

In this application, the system will be installed at a concrete batching plant, helping capture and control airborne dust to create a cleaner, safer working environment.
