Shelf Subsea Bintang Group Announces Long-Term Charter Agreement with Jumeirah Offshore for the DSV Oriental Dragon.
Shelf Subsea Solutions (part of the Shelf Subsea Bintang Group of companies) is pleased to announce a long-term charter with Jumeirah Offshore for the DSV Oriental Dragon. The charter covers a period of 5 years effective towards the end of this year following the vessel’s current obligations.

The Oriental Dragon is a ST-246 Skipsteknisk designed, 124m DP3, Saturation Diving Construction Support Vessel, specially designed for operations worldwide under the most challenging of environmental conditions and offering outstanding maneuverability and station-keeping.
The vessel is dual DNV and CCS classed. DnV ✠1A1 DSV (SAT, Surface), BIS, BWM(T), Clean Design, COMF (C-3, V-3), CRANE DK(+) DYNPOS(AUTRO), E0 ,ECA(Sox-A) ,HELDK(S, H) ,NAUT(AW), Recyclable, SF, and SPS. The Oriental Dragon features an integrated twin bell 24-man Drass Saturation Diving System, ROV hangers, approx. 900m2 of available deck, a 250T AHC main crane, a 30T secondary crane, anti-heeling & roll systems, and accommodation for 120 pax. With 45 days of endurance the Oriental Dragon is the complete Construction Support DSV.
