Are Your Flyscreens Ready for Open-Window Weather?
Warmer days mean opening windows and letting fresh air in.
But torn mesh or a loose screen can let flies and insects in too.
Before opening up your home or workplace, check:
1. Torn mesh: Look for small holes and frayed edges, especially around the corners.
2. Loose frames: Make sure screens sit securely, with no gaps around the edges.
3. Damaged screens: Check for bent frames or mesh pulling away.
4. Screen doors: Check they close properly and the mesh is secure.
5. Windows: Open and close each one to check the screen stays in place.
A screen can look fine from a distance.
A closer look often reveals the gaps.
Taking care of small repairs now means you can enjoy the breeze with fewer unwanted visitors.
