Rowe Group is pleased to welcome David Maiorana and Kieran McGovern who have recently joined us.
David will be part of our experienced Town Planning team as Manager Special Projects bringing over 19 years’ experience and a wealth of knowledge on numerous complex planning projects.
David is an Experienced Town Planning Consultant who has provided professional planning services to private landowners, developers, local government authorities and state government agencies both within the Perth metropolitan area and throughout Western Australia.
Kieran joins us with experience working as a Town Planner in both state and local governments, most recently working for the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage and the City of Nedlands.
Kieran understands the importance of building strong relationships with clients to deliver high quality planning outcomes.

Greg Rowe Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of two new shareholders and Directors on 26 November 2021. George Hajigabriel and Rod Dixon will join company founder Greg Rowe on the Board of Directors to lead the continued growth of trading entities Rowe Group and Proven Project Management.
With over 30 years in the company, and the last 15 years as General Manager, George has played a key role in business growth and diversification. He is well known to the company’s many long-standing clients and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board.
Rod joined the company in 2018 as Manager Land Development, following roles as General Manager at development company Western Corporate, Operations Director at RPS and as a Director of former town planning and project management company Koltasz Smith. Rod brings extensive experience in strategic planning and a strong corporate track record to the Board.
Company founder, Greg Rowe said, “we are delighted to appoint George and Rod as Directors. LEEUWIN VILLAGE AT WITCHCLIFFE GAINS STAGE 1 APPROVAL
As renewed interest in the south west property market continues to drive land and housing activity, Rowe Group is pleased to have secured Western Australian Planning Commission approval for Stage 1 of Leeuwin Village estate at Witchcliffe.
Stage 1 will provide the first 48 lifestyle homesites that form part of a broader village estate. Leeuwin Village is being designed to recognise the important natural features of the site and surrounding Witchcliffe environment. The estate will integrate with retained natural bushland, a section of the Wadandi Track, and other parkland spaces. With the assistance of MNG, Emerge Associates, WML Consultants and Shawmac, Rowe Group are also progressing the Masterplan design that will guide future stages beyond Stage 1.
The Rowe Group Design team will incorporate MNG’s point cloud data into a spatially accurate 3-dimensional model to inform this visioning. Proven Project Management has been engaged to coordinate the delivery of Stage 1, with construction to commence in late 2021. We look forward to working with the project team, our client and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River as the project progresses.
The approvals and visioning process is being led by our Manager Land Development, Rod Dixon and Manager Urban Design, Forbes Chesterman, together Town Planner, Adrian Dhue and Proven Project Manager, Taylor Conway.

Rowe Group was engaged by Place Development on behalf of WABGR in July 2019 to lead a complex approvals process to facilitate the development of this key parcel of land.

ALDI is going to Kalgoorlie! Rowe Group, through the work of our planners Nathan John Stewart and Adrian Dhue, has assisted in securing approval from the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder for the development of an ALDI Supermarket at 101 Brookman Street, Kalgoorlie.
The project comprises an ALDI Supermarket, associated signage and parking. The development will significantly improve the variety of day-to-day shopping destinations for residents in Kalgoorlie and the wider region.
ALDI (Morgan O’Shea), with assistance from Rowe Group, Maze Architects (Derek Nash), Transcore (Vladimir Baltic) and Plan E Landscape Architects (Andrew Baranowski), worked with the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder through the development application process. We are very pleased to have been able to assist our Client in achieving approval for this development and look forward to construction starting soon.
The City of Wanneroo is proposing to introduce a new Local Planning Policy which will require all non-residential development (or additions or extensions to these developments) where the estimated cost of the development exceeds $2 million to contribute to “public art” either through the provision of public art on-site or a financial contribution to provide public art elsewhere within the City. The amount of the contribution is proposed to be no less than 1% of the estimated construction value to a maximum of $500,000.00.
The draft Local Planning Policy is being advertised for public comment until COB 25 June 2021.

Approved! Rowe Group, through the work of our Senior Planner, Nathan John Stewart has assisted in securing approval through the Metro Inner-North Joint Development Assessment Panel for the development of a commercial development comprising restaurant, café and child care uses in the Mirrabooka Town Centre. The Approval was achieved despite objection from the Local Authority in relation to the lack of any residential component forming part of the proposal.

Rowe Group is pleased to have been able to secure Development Approval from the Metro Inner-South Joint Development Assessment Panel for Hamlen’s East and Co. residential development in East Victoria Park. The approved development will see the former National Archives site on Berwick Street transform into a master-planned “missing middle” community comprising 39 townhouses, 32 apartments and communal spaces. Rowe Group congratulates Hamlen and the project team (consisting of Matthews & Scavalli Architects, Realm Studios, Stantec and Serling Consulting) in achieving Development Approval from the JDAP.

Approved! Rowe Group, through the work of our Senior Planner, Nathan John Stewart, has secured development approval from the Metro Inner North Joint Development Assessment Panel for an office development within the Town of Cottesloe.
The proposal is of high quality architectural design and incorporates extensive landscaping to the front setback area, rear courtyard and terrace level. The development utilises single and two storey elements which assists in ensuring it complements and enhances the existing streetscape. The design received unanimous support from the members of the Town’s Design Advisory Panel.
Our Client, Warburton Group, with assistance from Rowe Group and project architect, Cox Architects, collaborated with the neighbouring landowners to ensure that the proposal met the expectations for the site. We are very pleased to have been able to assist our Client in achieving development approval and look forward to construction starting soon.
Approved! Rowe Group, through the work of our Senior Planner, Nathan John Stewart has assisted in securing the approval through the Metro Inner North Joint Development Assessment Panel and State Administrative Tribunal for the development of The Little School Early Learning Centre at 130 and 132 Brookdale Street, Floreat.
The project comprises a child care centre with capacity for 107 children over two buildings with an undercroft parking area. The architectural style and design is responsive to the surrounding residential properties and specific to the “Floreat” character. The development will provide high quality early learning services in Floreat and the wider western suburbs of Perth.
