Earlier this year, Redpath Australia (Redpath) acquired RUC Mining Contractors (RUC) and its subsidiary companies.

Since this time, we have worked diligently to integrate the RUC business into the Redpath Group.

In March, it was announced that Redpath (Australia) Holdings Pty Ltd (Redpath), a wholly owned subsidiary of Redpath Mining Inc., had signed a share purchase agreement to acquire RUC Mining Contractors Pty Ltd (RUC). We are pleased to share that this acquisition has received regulatory approval, and RUC has now formally joined the Redpath business.

We are taking a phased approached to this integration, and Redpath and RUC are committed to ensuring there is no disruption to project operations as we transition towards operating as one business.

Combining the strengths of the two businesses will streamline how we service customers, enhance our service offering, and provide more opportunities for employees so that we attract, develop and retain the industry’s best talent.

As always, safety remains our number one priority as we work through the integration process.

🚨 📣 BREAKING NEWS 📣 🚨

Redpath (Australia) Holdings Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Redpath Mining Inc., has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire RUC Mining Contractors Pty Ltd (RUC).

Pending regulatory approvals, we expect the agreement to be completed and for RUC to officially become part of Redpath by June 2024.

This agreement is evidence of the quality of service and expertise Redpath sees across the RUC team, and our combined capabilities and expanded footprint will be a compelling proposition to customers, and will provide more opportunities for our employees. 🚀

RUC were proud sponsors of the Tasmanian Rock Drilling Championships that took place in Rosebery over the weekend.

The championships were part of the Rosebery Carnival and featured highly skilled and experienced drillers displaying an age-old mining method that many may not experience in today’s mines.

The strength of these operators is nothing short of impressive.

Congratulations to everyone that competed and gave the crowds a show to remember.
