I have just been to review the rails that you installed for Client 'S', and they are really excellent. The one in the bedroom (a customised stainless steel free-standing rail at the step) is brilliant. Client 'S's' confidence in mobility has significantly improved. The whole family are really happy with the outcome.

We install ramps, rails and steps to improve ease of access, bathrooms and toilet rails to assist mobility, and shower hoses, lever taps and non-slip floors to make every day hygiene routines easier, safer and more comfortable. We can also make minor modifications in your bathroom, which do not cost the earth, but will assist in bathing, and we install bed and chair raises for ease of movement when getting up or sitting down.

Our Story

Grafton General Products was established in 1986, servicing The Department Of Veterans Affairs. We have since grown into a small, thriving family business, which has helped thousands of elderly and disabled people improve their lives.

Soon after founding our business, we realised that the elderly and disabled are often a neglected part of society and that we could do a lot to make their lives more comfortable and increase their independence at the same time.

There is no reason to be completely restricted in your own home, or to move out sooner than is necessary. We create solutions that will make your home life more convenient, and today, many of our clients now enjoy a better life, living comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Like many small businesses, we started from humble beginnings as a one-man, home-grown business. We now employ seven people and sub-contract to various other reliable and competent businesses and sub-contractors. We work with qualified carpenters, plumbers, welders, grano workers and electricians. All our staff and sub-contractors are police cleared.
