🌳 What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy soccer, spending time with family and listening to music. I'm a bit of a homebody but I also love to travel - an oxymoron, I know.
🌳 Who are your favourite sports team?
Tottenham Hotspur for sure.
🌳 What do you like about working for Mow The Extra Mile?
I love the flexibility and having a trustworthy boss - he really does go the extra mile not just for clients for his team as well, and it's in the brand name for good reason. The whole team has also been welcoming and helpful.
🌳 Tell us about your experience in the industry (when you started etc.)
Left school and became as a trade assistant but wanted a change of scenery as well as job flexibility. Working at Mow The Extra Mile has offered flexibility, fresh air, and a chance to meet new people. It has also been such a great thing for my health both mental and physical health with being outside!

Job consisted of spraying to kill the grass/w**d surface, applied a w**d mat, laid 5 cubic metres of wood chips. We also trimmed all the trees and bushes.
Letting your backyard sit idle over the winter period should be considered a crime in my opinion! After all the hard work you spend maintaining your garden and lawn over the summer, it is criminal to not take advantage of the winter weather, and make the most of your space.
Winter is the perfect time to grow Root vegetables, like carrots, parsnips, beetroot and potatoes (the key ingredients of a classic Aussie winter roast 🤤)
People often shy away from planting new seeds over the winter, but it is actually an amazing time to plant veggies like these because they tolerate shorter days and cooler weather. The real bonus of planting in winter is that other than keeping an eye out for the odd bug, it's essentially maintenance-free!
