Turns out the office dress code is WAY more comfortable when it’s pyjamas!💤✨🤣

Today we swapped business attire for fluffy socks, over sized tees, and our favourite PJs… and somehow still managed to get work done (we’re just as surprised as you are).

Swipe to the second photo to see our team through the eyes of our boss’s daughter. Safe to say she absolutely nailed it!🎨❤️ We might even have to frame it.

Hot take: The home you end up with is decided by where you start 👀

Many people aren’t aware, but the first decision you make for your home sets the tone for everything that follows.

Start with a Building Designer, you’re designing around your life, not someone else’s template. Your block, your lifestyle, your future plans. Layouts aren’t fixed, they’re explored, adjusted, refined. You actually get space to think before anything is locked in.

After the completion of your plans, you’ll have complete freedom to choose a builder based on your budget and your home requirements. Designers have established relationships with local builders and will suggest builders based on your home requirements.

Start with a builder, it may be faster, but the process is more restricted from the beginning. You’re often choosing from set plans or limited variations, which can quietly narrow your options before you’ve even started shaping the home.

And here’s the part most people only realise later
Less flexibility early = more compromises later
Design-first flips that completely.

You get clarity early, freedom to explore ideas properly, and a home that feels intentional, not forced into a pre-made design. Then your chosen builder steps in with a clear, finished vision and brings it to life exactly as intended.

No confusion. No guessing. Just a home designed properly from day one 🏡

✨ More Flexibility. More Control. Better Design.✨

When people hear the term “building designer” they tend to assume it’s the same as a draftsperson, architect or builder. In reality, all of these roles are quite different to each other.

Working with a building designer gives homeowners the benefit of flexibility and control throughout the entire design process. Rather than adapting your ideas to an existing design, your home is designed around your lifestyle, block, budget and future plans from the beginning, ensuring that everything suits the way you to live.

And once your plans are completed, you’ll have full ownership of them! Giving you the freedom to compare builders, explore pricing options and choose the right fit for your project.

From concepts and floor plans through to council approvals and builder collaboration, the goal is to make the process feel clearer, and less overwhelming for homeowners.

Throwing it back to one of our award-winning extension projects, captured from before construction, through the build and into the completed transformation!

A great extension is about more than adding space. It’s about creating a home that feels cohesive, functional and designed around the way people actually live.

Still one of those projects that reminds us how much a good design can completely change a home!
