The Gatsby Skyline — Music & Entertainment Venue

Master 5 Design invited us to contribute to , a bold new cabaret bar in the heart of Manjimup with a lavish, speakeasy-inspired fit-out.

Working closely with their creative team, we sculpted stylised granite rock walls and surfaces to complement the rich mood and layered textures of the venue.

This build brought together Australian artists, craftspeople, and fabricators across multiple disciplines including metalwork, woodcraft, encaustic decoupage, and painting.

Our sculpted elements were designed to flow naturally within the space while adding to its theatrical atmosphere.

Big thanks to Greg and Joy for bringing us into this fun & unique project.

Limestone-Look Feature Walls, Carved by Hand

Behind the build

Our lovely client came to us with reference material for the finish they had in mind. We began with an on-site sample, sculpting the concrete directly onto the brickwork to test the look and feel. Once approved, we rolled out the concrete render across the bathroom and master bedroom and added subtle colour to enhance the depth and texture.

We love the warmth & natural feel of the finished walls.

Our lovely client came to us with reference material for the finish they had in mind. We began with an on-site sample, sculpting the concrete directly onto the brickwork to test the look and feel. Hand Sculpted Double-Sided Feature Wall

A long-standing client and property developer approached us to explore ways to enhance his family’s forever home, then under construction.

The final result: a striking, multi-story sculpted monolithic rock that feels like it’s always belonged. Designed to be seen from both inside and out, this piece anchors the architecture while catching the changing light throughout the day.

The family loved that it could be admired from every level, and the kids wasted no time in turning it into their own indoor climbing wall.

WA Museum Boola Bardip | Kimberly Rock Wall Display

CDM Studio invited us to complete the sculpt of this Kimberly-inspired rock wall for . The display was built offsite, then dismantled, transported, and reassembled in the Museum.

Created as part of the Relics and Refugees zone, the display was designed as a themed backdrop for large-scale insect models and artwork. CDM led the creative design, direction and fabrication, working from design plans by Freeman Ryan Design.

Working over a sacrificial timber frame filled with pre-carved foam, we applied the scratch coat and final visual top coat. Every surface, join, and detail had to align perfectly—both visually and structurally—once reassembled on site.

It was a genuine privilege to collaborate with such a talented, professional, fun and creative team. We're proud to have played a part in this installation.

Fossilised Coral Rock Render

This was a really interesting project. The client brought me a sample of reef stone—filled with tiny shells, oyster cross-sections, and beautifully eroded striations. He’d designed his home around three huge feature walls and wanted them to feel like giant plinths cut from that same stone.
We developed a brand new finish to bring the idea to life—and this still stands out as one of my favourite projects.

This kind of sculpted render opens up a world of possibility—for homes, building foyers, and anywhere you're after something bold, natural, and entirely custom.

Tjyllyungoo designed the theme of the park around the Dreamtime story of Koolbardi the Magpie and Kaarda the Racehorse Goanna (Monitor Lizard).

Wrapping around the playground at Spring Reserve, Guildford, this 12-metre cement monitor lizard was designed by acclaimed Noongar artist Tjyllyungoo/Lance Chadd.

Sublime Stone Solutions was engaged by CDM Studio to sculpt the form onsite, starting with a scaled foam model of the lizard’s torso supplied by CDM. We built a welded armature over the foam, applied a GFRC base, and hand-carved the details—ready for Tjyllyungoo’s beautiful painting.

A fun and meaningful collaboration, grounded in storytelling and cultural connection.

Monitor Lizard – Cement-Sculpted Public Artwork

A huge 12-metre-long monitor lizard, sculpted in cement to honour the Dreamtime story of Koolbardi the Magpie and Kaarda the Monitor Lizard.

Commissioned by the City of Guildford and designed and painted by renowned Noongar artist Tjyllyungoo/Lance Chadd, the sculpture winds around the playground at Spring Reserve.

Sublime Stone Solutions was engaged by CDM Studio to construct the metal armature and sculpt the lizard, ready for Tjyllyungoo’s detailed painting.

It was a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful and collaborative project.

Recreations inspired by nature and directed by our clients needs.
We are very pleased to offer realistic organic natural aesthetics inspired billabongs, waterfalls, natural swimming pools, heated sculpted rock spas, water slides, lazy rivers and direct concrete sculpted themed areas.

Our greatest passion as a company, is to offer up the possibilities for our clients to truly be inspired by their favorite places of natural wonder in the world, or specific geology of rock and bring all of those personal influences in a fusion together for a hyper realistic bespoke recreation for their forever homes or commercial projects.

Our favorite clients are the dreamers of far away exotic places, that never thought it was a possibility of recreating those elements where, and however they desire.

Sublime Stone Solutions was tasked to sculpt a Pilbraesk inspired natural rock oasis with waterfall, with naked filtration system concealed behind waterfall, sloped entry for the little ones, and a deep section for the jumping rock and water slide for the big kids.

The naked pool system is built around space technology which uses silver and copper to sanitise and purify your water without the excessive use of chemicals.

We also offer a natural plant bed regeneration/ filtration system, where ponds are naturally filtered and have beautifully fresh and silky smooth water quality. Swimming as nature intended in water without harsh chemical sanitation treatments. Inspired by nature for both filtration and appearance. Hybrid swim ponds can be attributed to the likes of swimming in a creek or waterhole with plants and fish, all creating a naturally balanced ecosystem.

Key considerations included a modular, interlocking design, optimized weight for transport and installation, and expansive horizontal planes for marron to explore—all crafted to complement the aesthetic of local rock samples provided.
