As Luxor Construction, we are thrilled to embark on another extraordinary project. Currently, we are at the initial stages of pouring the ground floor slab. Our dedicated team of grano workers is meticulously preparing the site, ensuring every detail is perfected before the pour. They have a final day of meticulously placing chairs and reinforcing bars, ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of the foundation.

We are particularly excited about the upcoming pour, as we will be using a special dark grey mix specifically designed for the burnished finish. This unique blend promises to deliver a luxurious and sophisticated aesthetic that perfectly complements the high-end nature of our project. The burnished finish will elevate the entire space, adding depth and richness to the flooring.

The anticipation is palpable as we eagerly await the completion of this stage. We cannot wait to witness the impeccable finish that our team will achieve, setting the tone for the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines Luxor Construction.

We're embarking on an exciting journey with the new construction project in Mt. Pleasant. Right now, it's still in its early phases, but already we're envisioning the possibilities. Picture a 6-car garage and a basement pool, with a quaint courtyard nestled below, offering a picturesque view up to the entry bridge of this stunning 4-level home. Inside, there's warmth and space—a generous kitchen, living, and dining area, and a sunken lounge where you can peer through a glass floor to see the pool below.

The spiral stairs are a unique feature, leading only from the ground floor alfresco to the alfresco on the top floor, where breathtaking views await. Upstairs, the master bedroom is enveloped in floor-to-ceiling glass walls that frame the world outside. Other bedrooms, each with their own ensuites, nestle towards the front of the residence. And oh, the rooftop! It's a breathtaking vista, offering views of the city, the iconic Raffles Hotel, the serene Rowing Pavilion, Canning Bridge, and the tranquil river flowing along The Esplanade.

But it's not just about the structure—it's the journey we're on. Working closely with the owners, we're pouring our hearts into every detail, ensuring that this home reflects their dreams and desires. With Luxor Construction by their side, we're crafting a space that's not just a house, but a sanctuary where memories will be made and stories shared for years to come.

This off-grid limestone house with reconstituted blocks of 500x350x350 size and a spacious verandah alfresco around the entire house indeed offers excellent insulation properties. Limestone is known for its ability to regulate temperature, keeping the interior cool in hot Australian summers and providing warmth insulation during colder months. The design with a large verandah, enhances airflow and shade, further contributing to the overall comfort of the residence. It's a smart and sustainable choice for a home in the Australian climate!

Creating a completely off-grid limestone residence entails integrating various sustainable features such as solar power, batteries, rainwater harvesting, and gas systems:

1. **Solar Power**: Harnessing solar energy through photovoltaic panels installed on the limestone home's roof enables the generation of electricity from sunlight.

2. **Batteries**: To store excess energy generated by the solar panels, batteries like lithium-ion or lead-acid can be employed. These batteries provide power during periods of low sunlight or at night, ensuring a continuous power supply.

3. **Rainwater Harvesting**: Implementing a rainwater harvesting system allows the collection and filtration of rainwater for domestic use. This water can be stored in tanks and utilized for various purposes such as irrigation, flushing toilets, or even for drinking after proper filtration.

4. **Gas Systems**: Integrating a gas system, such as propane or natural gas, can provide an alternative energy source for cooking, heating, and other domestic needs, offering redundancy and energy diversity to the off-grid home.

By combining these elements, the limestone home can operate independently from the traditional power grid and conventional water supply systems, promoting sustainability and self-sufficiency.
