I would just like to clarify that I do not offer cash-in-hand payment options.
There are a couple of important reasons for this.
Firstly, I am not insured to carry out work on a cash-in-hand basis. If something were to go wrong or an injury were to occur, this could leave both myself and the customer in a difficult position.
Secondly, I am running a legitimate business and take pride in providing a professional service. A significant amount of my time is spent visiting properties, assessing the work required, preparing quotations and ensuring each job is properly planned. This time is invested before any work even begins and is not charged separately to the customer.
All quotations are prepared professionally and reflect the time, materials, experience, insurance and workmanship required to complete the job correctly and to the recommended standard.
I understand that you may sometimes receive cheaper offers from people willing to do work for cash. However, it is always worth asking why the price is significantly lower. Is the work going to be completed properly from start to finish? Will the appropriate materials and methods be used? And is the work covered by the necessary insurance?
Quality workmanship, professionalism and peace of mind are all part of the service I provide.
Thank you for taking the time to read and understand my position.
