At Premium Mechanical Group, we know that safety isn't just about what happens on-site, it's also about how our people get there. As a leading mining maintenance partner supplying skilled heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance workers to mine sites across WA, our team often travels long distances between remote work locations.

We continue to focus on road safety as a critical part of our health and safety commitment. To further strengthen our commitment to worker safety, we are implementing measures to:
• Monitor driving behaviours like speed and fatigue
• Improve visibility of vehicle movements across WA
• Support faster response in emergencies
• Encourage safer habits behind the wheel

A huge shoutout and a massive THANK YOU to our amazing team for their dedication and hard work during one of our recent shutdowns!

This shut saw:
✅ A team of 12 working together – what a crew!
✅ Work completed on trucks and a digger, with ex*****on from start to finish.
✅ The digger crew safely transitioned to the underground shutdown space, assembling a UG Bogger with precision and efficiency.
✅ Experienced team members joined forces with our Premium Support crew, strengthening our shutdown capabilities.
✅ Our team from Perth head office joined the site crew for a celebration after the event — everyone had a blast, great vibes, great work, and a great team!

🌏💚 Making a Difference, One Cleanup at a Time! 💚🌏

We are incredibly proud to have hosted our first-ever Clean Up Australia Day event at Frederick Street, Belmont! 🎉 As a team, we came together to remove litter, protect our local waterways, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.

Why does this matter? Australians generate approximately 75.8 million tonnes of waste each year. Every bit of rubbish we remove helps protect our precious ecosystems, marine life, and future generations.

A huge thank you to our Premium Change Makers team who took the time to be part of this initiative. Your dedication to sustainability and community action is truly inspiring! 🙌

Premium Mechanical Group (Premium) specialise in providing mobile plant maintenance personnel predominately across Western Australia, with smaller operations in NSW and QLD. The Head office operates in O’Connor, W.A. managing the West whilst East Coast operations are lead from the Brisbane branch. These 2 highly operative offices work in unison of one another allowing for improved response time empowering customer service and the mobility of personnel across the country.

Premium are proud to announce that 2018 represents, 11.5 years since the establishment of a modest field service operation into what Premium stands for today. Employing over 200 elite tradespeople and skilled personnel throughout mining, construction and transport industries.

Premium's workforce is made up of; Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics, Digger Specialists, Drill Fitters, Mobile Plant Auto Electricians, High Voltage Electricians, Boilermakers, Light Vehicle Mechanics, Service Personnel, Heavy Road Transport Fitters, Trade Assistants, Stores Personnel, Maintenance Supervisors and Planners.

This Tier 1 provider partners with industry leading owner miners and maintenance contractors including BHP, BMA, Newmont, FMG, Whitehaven Coal, Downer, Mineral Resources, Westgold, MACA, MacMahon Contractors, NRW, Thiess, CPB and Leightons; not to mention several small to medium sized enterprises.
