How’s that air moisture working out for your lawn? Better than this suffering lawn I hope!

Nice to be in the shade today with a slight spike in the temperature 👌
Allett Mowers all over this scourge.
Keep it real 👌
👏
Not only is there increased risk of injury to players but there’s also the cancer risk as well as the fact artificial grass does not decompose

Perfect morning for water catch cup tests today. A nice way to start the day 👌
Pesticide refresher done ✅
We hit 39c here in Perth today. This buffalo is doing well under tough conditions. Due nutrition and wetting agent it’ll be looking good very soon 👍
A lot of lawns here in Perth will be tested again over the next few days. A quality wetting agent is a must as part of your lawn care regime!
A new customer in Woodlands today. Thatch levels are very significant here. I have been given the green light to smack the absolute suitcase out of it in Spring, I can’t wait!
Further to my last post on a reno done at home, the recovery continues to impress. Only trouble is the lawn should’ve been mown last week but I’ve been too busy mowing yours! 😂
An aggressive renovation performed Sunday the 16th, right before the heat wave. No extra irrigation outside of rostered watering days. A very encouraging response from the lawn.
How is your lawn travelling mid heat wave? Don’t be shy with the hose if your lawn is struggling.
No mercy for our poor lawns today! Thought I’d post a pic of a cooler climate English lawn.
Day 1 of the current heat wave.
I hope your lawn is coping.
Some respite starting tomorrow for the next few days. Great window of opportunity to get some nutrients down for your lawn.
Couch and kikuyu regularly get a hard time about how invasive they can be. Check out this Sir Walter buffalo!
Tough going for some lawns out there at the moment. The heat revs up again tomorrow for a couple of days. Wetting agents and working reticulation are non negotiables this time of year in Perth.
Can’t beat a bit of topdressing 😂
Did you know that natural lawn breathes life into our cities and helps manage heat in our cities?
Too much shade from this tree for the poor lawn. You can see the garden edging where the lawn would have originally grown up to. You can’t always have both and I know what I prefer.
Under starters orders at 7am in Inglewood! Beautiful morning and ideal mowing conditions. I don’t know about anyone else but today felt like the overdue start of Spring!
A good read.
Do the people who recommend these fields consider either the plastic epidemic or the heat...
Nice afternoon out there today. This is lower Hillcrest Oval in Bayswater. Looking in good shape considering we haven’t even had a week of Spring weather yet.
A few different problems here. Photos taken when I’ve been out working. If you come across anything resembling these please be sure to let me know.
If only!
A little fresh first thing but more than welcome after being locked up all week!
“Next level tree management” 💪
It’s that time of the year again. Be sure not to forget!
Great to catch some sunshine in Shenton Park today. Buffalo cut at the right height in line with the current temps and time of year.
Great post here courtesy of Allett Mowers.
The artificial grass graveyard
A delivery driver did this to a customers lawn. Apparently they mistook the lawn for the driveway!
It actually frightens me we share our roads with individuals like this!
I find acts like this inexcusable. Inconsiderate and disrespectful to say the least. The customer is invested in their lawn and they take great care in its upkeep.
The transition from Summer to Autumn combined with challenging weather conditions have created perfect conditions for pests to both invade and damage your lawn. In some cases I’ve come across significant damage.
I’ve recently applied a pesticide for several customers that’s both a curative and preventative. (3 months protection)
Non toxic to bees and earthworms too which is a huge plus.
If you’d like to know more please message me.
Need advice at the Big Green Shed this weekend?!
Some nice rain this afternoon. Hopefully with more to come. Good to see after the whacky weather recently 💦💦💦
How’s the humidity?! There’s still plenty around. Ideal conditions for all sorts of problems your lawn can potentially encounter. Please be mindful of any changes in your lawn (and they can be sudden). If something doesn’t look right and you’re unsure how to deal with it please let me know and I’ll happily help.
